ECD Play2Learn Visits
Busy Bees
16 September 2026 CheAfrica Hub welcomed the children from Busy Bees. They played and had wonderful opportunities to learn through play. The teachers and the children enjoyed the Hub.
The theme of air transport was the main part of our morning activities. Six Bricks was used in activities to teach the children their colours as well as the sign language sign for each colour. Outside in our sunny play area they all flew paper airplanes and later duplo blocks was used to build their own helicopters.
Little Happy Feet
On 10 September 2026 the team at CheAfrica Hub were visited by 10 children from Little Happy Feet. We played, learned and laughed together and had a wonderful morning of learning through play for both the teacher and the children.
The season of Spring was once again our inspiration for the morning activities. Activities ranging from educational Six Bricks enjoyed in our sunny outdoor play area, an edible art activity making flowers from marshmallows, smarties, icing and cookies and a stimulating building activity using duplo blocks to create spring flowers.
CJF Educare Centre
The energetic group of children from CJF Educare Center visited us on 8 September 2026 at the CheAfrica Hub for great moments of fun and learning through play for both the teachers and the children.
The theme of Spring was our inspiration for the educational activities we put together starting with educational Six Bricks activities in our sunny outdoor play area, an edible art activity planting flowers made from lollipops and marshmallows and building blooming spring daisies with duplo blocks.
Lilly Blossom
Lilly Blossom Playhouse is a lovely ECD that came to visit us on 3 September 2026 at the CheAfrica Hub for fun, laughter and a wonderful Play to Learn opportunity for both the teachers and the children.
We had fun with thier school theme, birds, and created lots of activities and opportunities to learn. The children created birds from some loose parts such as pool noodles, corks and feathers, built puzzles and was led in educational Six Bricks activities.
Kirsty’s ECD Centre
On 27 August 2026, Kirsten’s ECD Academy visited us at CheAfrica Hub for a morning filled with fun and educational activities for both the teachers and the children.
We organised activities according to the theme, birds, that they were learning about at school that week. They were creative when making a bird from some loose parts sucgh as a pool noodle, feathers and a cork. The kids enjoyed building bird themed puzzles and were guided in fun educational Six Bricks activities.
